One-time Augusta resident turned Nashville artist JIM PERKINS has just released his fourth CD "Long Way Home." The CD, officially released on July 15th, is a covers platter of tunes one figures are close to Perkin's Heart including tracks by Tom Petty, Chris Isaac, Pearl Jam, Oasis, and more. While Perkins' true strength lies in his own compositions, his latest is a night listen especially for cruising on cool, breezy nights.
